Cattle Identification

Cattle identification is a practice that helps the meat production chain, from birth to slaughter in slaughterhouses. However, existing methods lack practices that provide the same advantages, ensure animal welfare and contribute to the monitoring of information, as recommended by precision livestock farming. The use of a less invasive method, such as the experiment, to identify Pantaneiro cattle through images, with the support of computer vision and convolutional neural networks, can contribute to achieving these objectives.
